Your Travel Experience with ARRIVAL

Day 1

Touchdown in Entebbe

Welcome to Uganda – jetlagged but buzzing. After landing, you’re greeted by a friendly face and whisked through lush streets to your hotel. Catch your breath, sip something cold and ease into East Africa’s rhythm. The wild is waiting, but not rushing.

Day 1 - 2

Boma Guest House, Entebbe

Laid-back garden hotel with vintage charm. Good food, no frills, quiet place to recharge.

Day 2 - 3

Kigarama Wilderness, Lake Mburo

Simple but scenic, with elevated views and wildlife at your doorstep.

Day 2

Game Drive – Mburo

Lake Mburo may be small, but it punches above its weight. Expect wide acacia plains dotted with zebra, eland and the occasional warthog. It’s the kind of drive where every turn brings a new silhouette on the horizon – and where the silence feels ancient. A pocket-sized safari with big soul.

Day 3 - 5

Gorilla Leisure Lodge, Bwindi

Jungle-close and eco-conscious. Electricity may be limited, but so is the noise.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi

Step into a world where the forest breathes and the mist never quite lifts. This 4-6 hour trek through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park isn’t any old activity – it’s a pilgrimage. And at the end? A silent, powerful hour face-to-face with the gorillas that call this forest home. Permit included, memories guaranteed.

Day 5 - 6

Embogo Lodge, QENP

Thatched, no-frills and deep in the wild. Think buffalo spotting over breakfast.

Day 5

Game Drive – Ishasha

This isn’t your average lion-spotting loop. Ishasha is wild, fig-dotted country where lions don’t just prowl – they climb. Scan the trees for dangling paws and lazy tails. It’s off-grid and unpredictable and that’s the magic. You don’t chase sightings here, you earn them.

Day 6 - 7

Kikorongo Lodge, QENP

Rustic, local-owned stay that trades luxury for lion proximity.

Day 6

Kazinga Channel Safari – Queen Elizabeth NP

Forget the dusty 4WD – this is safari by water. Drift down the Kazinga Channel where hippos grunt, crocs sunbathe and elephants lumber to drink. It's a slow, cinematic cruise with birdlife overhead and big game on the banks – nature’s theatre in full surround sound. Binoculars recommended, awe unavoidable.

Game Drive – Kasenyi

Welcome to Kasenyi, lion country on the lake. Grasslands stretch wide, craters ripple across the horizon and everything feels just a little more cinematic. This is where Uganda flexes its safari muscle. Expect herds on the move, predators on the prowl and golden light that makes everything feel mythic.

Day 7 - 8

Turaco Tree Tops, Kibale

Set among the trees with peaceful forest vibes and a sense of sanctuary.

Day 7

Chimpanzee Tracking – Kibale

Lace your boots and follow a chorus of hoots into the tangled green of Kibale. This is no zoo encounter – this is real-time primate drama. Learn to read the signs, mimic their calls and witness the wild intelligence of our closest cousins in their own chaotic, charismatic world.

Day 8

Departure

One more morning in the kingdom before the drive back to Entebbe. The roadside fades but your head’s replaying gorilla grunts, lion yawns, laughter with strangers. Fly out changed. Return is optional.
