Day 1
ARRIVAL
You touch down in the wild heartbeat of North Africa. Cairo’s chaos hums outside as you’re swept through visa lines and into your first hotel, greeted by your local rep. The afternoon’s yours – decompress by the pool, or start strong by opting in for a dinner cruise on the Nile. It’s your first taste of Egypt’s electric contrast: ancient soul, modern pulse.
Day 1 - 3
Cairo Pyramids Hotel
Comfortable city base near Giza, with wide-open pyramid views that immediately remind you exactly where you’ve landed.
Day 2
Giza Pyramids & Saqqara
Stand before the Great Pyramid, meet the Sphinx up close and wander Saqqara’s ancient necropolis, including Zhoser’s groundbreaking Step Pyramid.
Day 3
Grand Egyptian Museum & Cairo Museum
Explore the vast new GEM with treasures from every era, then see royal mummies and ornate sarcophagi at the Cairo Museum, including Yuya and Thuyu.
Day 3 - 4
Sleeper Train
Overnight ride from Cairo to Aswan with private cabins, basic dinner service and the novelty of waking up somewhere entirely new.
Day 4
Temple of Philae
Sail to Agilkia Island to visit Philae, the elegant temple dedicated to Isis, beautifully relocated and surrounded by Nile waters and rocky landscapes.
Day 4 - 5

A central Aswan stay right on the Corniche, ideal for unwinding after a full day of temple hopping and Nile-side exploring.
Day 5 - 6
Felucca Cruise

Day 6
Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
Visit Kom Ombo, the dual temple honouring Sobek and Horus, then continue to Edfu to explore one of Egypt’s best-preserved and most impressive temples.
Day 6 - 9
Pyramisa Isis

Day 7
Karnak & Luxor Temples
Walk through colossal columns, grand pylons and timeless courtyards at Luxor Temple and the vast Karnak complex on the East Bank of the Nile.
Day 8
Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut
Journey across the West Bank to explore royal tombs, see the Colossi of Memnon and wander the stunning terraced temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Day 9 - 11
Hurghada Hotel
Seaside resort in Hurghada offering pools, sandy beaches and effortless Red Sea vibes – the perfect reset between ancient sights.
Day 11
Flight to Jordan
An early flight whisks you out of Egypt. Cross into Jordan, roll through its moonlike interior and arrive in Petra by sunset. If the legs hold, walk the Siq lit by 1,800 candles for a dreamy glimpse of the Treasury at night. Jaw drop guaranteed. Romance optional.
Day 11 - 13
P Quattro / Sella Hotel
Simple, friendly stay just minutes from Petra’s main gate – perfectly placed for early starts and late returns from the Siq.
Day 12
Petra Full Tour
Hike through the narrow Siq to the Treasury, then explore tombs, temples, Roman streets and the amphitheatre, with the option to climb to the Monastery.
Day 13
Wadi Rum Desert Safari
Take a 4x4 through Wadi Rum’s vast red desert, weaving between sandstone jebels and cinematic dunes before a Bedouin-style dinner at camp.
Day 13 - 14

Day 14
Wadi Mujib Canyoning

Departure
Airport transfers will make pick ups from early morning to late afternoon (specifically 4am, 7am, 9am, 12pm and 4pm – if you need a pick up outside these hours, let the ARRIVAL team know and we can organise this for you at an extra cost). Make sure to take one final glance at Jordan’s rugged horizon before takeoff. She’s a beauty.
