Your Travel Experience with ARRIVAL

Day 1

ARRIVAL

Arrive at Labuan Bajo Airport (you’ll organise your own flights to get here). A local guide will meet you in the arrivals hall and transfer you to your hotel. No scheduled activities today settle in, get your bearings, and prepare for an early start tomorrow.

Day 1 - 2

Luwansa Beach Resort

You’ll stay in air-conditioned Deluxe Rooms with hot showers and a pool — a soft landing before the jungle and a gentle re-entry after the sea.

Day 2

Trek and Overnight in Waerebo Village

Hike 2—3 hours through steep jungle trails to reach the remote mountain village of Waerebo. Once there, you’ll be welcomed with a traditional ceremony and spend the night in a communal roundhouse, sleeping on bamboo mats. Share fire-cooked meals and stories with the p, eat, and engage with the rhythms of village life in a remote mountain settlement.

Day 2 - 3

Waerebo Traditional Village

Communal sleep in one of Waerebo’s Mbaru Niang roundhouses — bamboo mats on the floor, one big room shared with other travellers. No electricity, no private space, no noise but the mountains. It’s as real as it gets.

Day 3 - 4

Luwansa Beach Resort

You’ll stay in air-conditioned Deluxe Rooms with hot showers and a pool — a soft landing before the jungle and a gentle re-entry after the sea.

Day 4 - 5

Elbark Liveaboard (or similar)

Shared bunk cabins on a traditional wooden phinisi boat. Facilities are basic, with communal bathrooms and deck dining.

Day 4 - 6

Elbark Liveaboard Journey

Board the Elbark for a 3-day sailing trip through Komodo National Park. Sleep in shared cabins, eat onboard, and wake up to a different island each day — this is your base for reef snorkelling, short hikes, and open-water swims.

Komodo National Park — Snorkelling & Island Stops

Description: Snorkel some of Komodo’s best spots — Sebayur or Siaba (reefs and turtles), Manta Point (manta rays), Pink Beach, Pengah Island, and Manjarite. Between swims, you’ll hike Padar Island for sunrise views, climb Kelor Island for one last panorama, and watch thousands of fruit bats take flight at Kalong Island.

Day 5

Komodo Dragon Encounter

Guided ranger walk on Komodo Island to spot Komodo dragons in the wild. Ancient, powerful, and right there in front of you — safely observed, never staged.

Day 6 - 7

Luwansa Beach Resort

You’ll stay in air-conditioned Deluxe Rooms with hot showers and a pool — a soft landing before the jungle and a gentle re-entry after the sea.
