Mizuho Studios
Nestled between Happo Village and Echoland, Mizuho Studios is the perfect base for experiencing everything Hakuba has to offer. Just moments from the ski lifts, cafés, bars and restaurants, you’ll spend less time commuting and more time on the mountain or enjoying the village once the lifts stop spinning.
Designed with a clean, modern alpine aesthetic, each self-contained studio features a comfortable king or twin setup, a private ensuite, kitchenette and all the essentials for a relaxed stay. Summit Views
Based in the heart of Happo Village, Summit Views Hakuba puts you right where you want to be. Just a short walk from the Nakiyama lifts and only minutes from the Happo Bus Terminal, it's an easy base for exploring everything Hakuba Valley has to offer. Newly renovated rooms range from cosy doubles and traditional Japanese-style options, many with sweeping views of the Northern Alps right outside the window. When the mountain has finally won the battle with your legs, there's a natural Onsen, sauna and lounge bar waiting back at the hotel. Add an on-site restaurant, complimentary hot drinks and a team of friendly English-speaking staff and you've got the sort of place that makes a ski trip feel effortless from start to finish.
Rosenheim Hotel
Based at Rosenheim Hakuba, you're about as close to the action as you can get without sleeping on the ski slope itself. Located directly opposite the Nakiyama slopes at Happo One Resort and beneath the iconic Olympic ski jump, this long-running alpine hotel has been welcoming skiers and snowboarders for decades. Rooms come in Japanese, Western and mixed styles, catering to everyone from couples to larger groups, while the restaurant serves up hearty meals after a day on the mountain. The real highlight, though, is the natural Onsen.
Double Black
Tucked away in the peaceful forests of Lower Wadano, Double Black Hotel offers a relaxed mountain escape just minutes from Happo-One and within easy reach of Hakuba's restaurants and bars. Blending boutique hotel comfort with a friendly ski lodge atmosphere, it features a stylish fusion of Japanese-Western rooms, a private onsen, and a lively bar and restaurant.

Hakuba Valley Ski Pass
Ten resorts, one pass, the freedom to ski wherever the snow is best each day. Happo-One for long cruising runs and Olympic-grade terrain. Cortina for deep tree runs and serious powder stashes. Hakuba 47 and Goryu for variety and vertical. Iwatake for quieter runs and panoramic views. Your QR code arrives 30 days before check-in. Number of ski days customisable, confirm in your quote request.
Day 2
HHG Transfers
Hakuba Hotel Group properties offer complimentary shuttles from either Hakuba Train Station or Happo Bus Depot to your accommodation. HHG transfers also available between the lodge, restaurants and the mountain throughout your stay. Confirm transfer requirements when you submit your quote request.
Day 3
Free Daily Ski Shuttles
Shuttle stops within walking distance of the lodge connect you to all resorts across the valley. No car hire, no logistics headache. Check the conditions, decide where you're going and get on.
Day 4
Ski and Snowboard Rental
Available for the full duration of your stay. Confirm boot size, equipment preference and ability level in your quote request and the ARRIVAL team will have everything sorted before you arrive.
Day 5
Lessons
Available for all levels from complete beginners through to those working on specific technique. Flag in your quote request and we'll build lessons into your custom itinerary.
Day 6
Exploring Hakuba Village (Encouraged)
Off the mountain, Hakuba's village has everything you need and nothing that feels unnecessary. Convenience stores stocked better than most supermarkets. Ramen spots with six seats and a chef who's been making the same broth for twenty years. Izakayas where you point at things and they're always good. A few bars that get livelier than they look from the outside. Wander without a plan and something good will find you.
Day 7
Onsen Sessions (Encouraged)
After back-to-back powder days your legs will tell you it's time. The wood-fired onsen at Nomad Lodge is right on site, the easiest and most satisfying recovery option available. Hakuba also has several onsens across the valley within easy reach, some rustic, some resort-style, all of them worth the visit. Slide into water hot enough to revive your body for the next day, stare at the steam rising into the cold mountain air. One of the non-negotiable parts of any Japan ski week. ARRIVAL will point you toward the right ones before you arrive.
Day 8
Departure
You'll leave with tired legs, likely a few new friends and that post-trip haze where normal life feels deeply unmotivating. That's the Hakuba effect.
