Your Travel Experience with ARRIVAL

Day 1

ARRIVAL

You’ll need to make your own way into Ende (flight not included). On arrival, a private driver will meet you for the 2–3 hour transfer to Moni, a quiet village near the base of Mount Kelimutu. Settle into your guesthouse surrounded by jungle and cool mountain air.

Day 1 - 2

Kelimutu Ecolodge, Moni

A simple, comfortable stay surrounded by jungle and near the base of Mt Kelimutu. Rooms have private bathrooms and views of misty forested hills. Perfect for an early start to the crater lakes.

Day 2

Kelimutu Sunrise Trek

Before dawn, drive up to Mount Kelimutu and hike the final stretch to catch sunrise over the surreal tri-coloured crater lakes – a sacred site steeped in legend.

Traditional Village Visit (Lio people)

Visit a nearby village known for its preserved traditional houses, megalithic stones, and spiritual customs. Learn how these communities live closely with ancestral traditions.

Day 2 - 4

Manulalu Jungle Bungalow , Bajawa

A clean and functional guesthouse in the heart of Bajawa. Rooms are basic but welcoming, with hot showers and breakfast included. Easy access to the surrounding traditional villages.

Day 3

So’a Hot Springs + Bajawa Village Trek

Soak in natural thermal pools at So’a Hot Springs, followed by a guided walk through Ngada villages, where hand-built homes and animist shrines reflect centuries-old culture.

Day 4

Spider Web Rice Fields (Cancar)

Stop at Cancar to see dramatic rice terraces arranged in a unique spider web pattern – a rare agricultural design found only in this part of Indonesia.

Day 4 - 5

Spring Hill, Ruteng

Highland hideaway with local charm and cool air.

Day 5

Labuan Bajo Free Time

Unwind or explore at your own pace – no scheduled activities today. Optional local tours available.

Day 5 - 7

Day 6

Padar Hike, Long Beach Snorkel & Kalong Bat Show

Climb Padar Island at sunrise for epic views, snorkel the clear waters off Long Beach, then cruise to Kalong Island and watch thousands of bats soar at sunset.

Komodo Dragon Encounter (Komodo Island)

Take a ranger-led walk through Komodo Island’s dry savannah terrain to see the world’s largest lizards – Komodo dragons – in their native habitat.

Day 7 - 9

Private Cabin on Shared Komodo Boat

Your cabin on the sea. Expect stars, salt air, and simple comfort that floats.

Day 7

Manta Point + Taka Makassar Snorkelling

Drift-snorkel over coral beds at Manta Point with the chance to spot manta rays. Then relax or swim at Taka Makassar, a remote sandbar surrounded by turquoise water.

Kanawa Island Beach Stop

Final stop at Kanawa Island for beach time and shallow snorkelling before returning to Labuan Bajo.
